Calculator and tracker inputs

The weekly planner, savings calculator, emergency-fund builder, loan calculator and trackers process entries using JavaScript in your browser. These tools do not include code that submits financial inputs to a Pace server. They do not ask for a login or bank access.

Save plan and Save scenario write inputs to local browser storage. The expense and subscription trackers save their entries there automatically. Local storage is available to scripts running on the same website origin and to people who can access the same browser profile. It is not a secure vault or an account backup.

Website and third-party requests

Loading a website sends technical information, including an IP address and browser information, to its hosting provider. The hosting provider may keep access logs under its own practices. Pace pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which also receives the technical information needed to serve them.

The home page uses Multilipi for translation, and translated paths may be served through its proxy. Its script can access home-page content. Financial input forms are on the separate tool pages; the source tool pages do not load that translation script. A translated or proxied version of the site may have different third-party processing. Use the main-domain tools when entering financial information.

Saving, exporting and deletion

Saved data stays in this browser until you clear it, remove entries, or your browser clears site storage. It does not sync between devices, browser profiles or domains. Private browsing may discard it when the session closes.

CSV downloads contain the information you export. They stay on your device independently of browser storage. Anyone with access to those files can read them.

Use Manage saved data to clear all Pace storage on this domain, or use your browser’s site-data settings. This does not delete CSV files you have downloaded. No Pace account is needed for deletion.

Keeping this information current

This page describes the tools currently shipped with this site. If how they handle data changes, the page and update date should change with it. Do not enter account passwords, card details or bank credentials into any of the tools.
